This Is An Aftermarket Air Conditioning Compressor Manufactured By Sanden – Behr To Replace The General Motors HT6 – It Has A 6 Groove Clutch Assembly With A 4.6″ Diameter Pulley, .60″ Gauge Line, And 8mm Pin Coil @ 11 O’Clock
General Motors HT6 compressor – Superior Nippondenso-based internal design, with 5 pistons operating in 10 cylinders for quieter, more efficient operation. This A/C pump has internal locating pins connecting each case segment, eliminating the problem of compressor ‘twist’ and leak problems.
This unit comes with a full 8 ounce charge of premium PAG 46 oil.
Compressor is located directly on top of the engine. There is an high pressure switch in the rear of the original compressor, held in with a small internal snap ring. That switch will need to be carefully removed from the OE unit and transferred to this unit.
