New GM CVC A/C Compressor Complete With 6 Groove Clutch Assembly Measuring 4.3″ Diameter, 1.55″ Gauge Line – Direct Mount (3 Boss) – 8mm Pin Coil @ 2 O’Clock
The GM CVC is a Compact Variable displacement Compressor. This compressor uses a refrigerant control valve to adjust the stroke of the compressor pistons, adjusting the discharge pressure.
The Accumulator or Filter Drier should always be replaced when the Air Conditioning System is opened. The Orifice Tube, if equipped, should always be replaced and the Expansion Valve, if equipped, should at least be inspected for proper operation if not replaced.
